Schools BakeOff

We are delighted to confirm that the very popular bake off competition between Alcester's secondary schools - Alcester Academy, Alcester Grammar School and St. Benedict's Catholic High School will return this year with a new theme and prizes sponsored by Countryside Classroom.

Pupils are being invited to register to enter through their school and all contestants will be provided with a disposable tray which will be delivered to their school the day before the event.

Contestants are invited to bring their marvelous creations to the Town Hall from 10:00am on the morning of the Festival, ready for our team of expert judges to begin tasting at 11:30 am. Parents, friends and the public are welcome to view the entries.

Prize giving will take place at 12:30 pm with awards given to the best traybake in each of the three categories: key stage 3, key stage 4 and key stage 5. A fabulous food hamper will also be awarded to the creator of the best overall tray bake, and £150 worth of bakery equipment is up for grabs for their school food department.
