About
There is nothing we like better than putting out the bunting, closing the High Street to traffic and having a ball and the Alcester Food Festival is the best excuse for a good day of fun that we have had for a while!
Local shops will be contributing; the cafes will be on the pavements, pubs will be thronged and our exhibitors will be giving it their all. And almost everything will be local.
The local shops, cafés and pubs will be open alongside over 100 stalls. There will be cheeses, pies, breads, cakes, fresh and cured meats, sausages, fruit and vegetables, a pig roast, award-winning street food, handmade chocolates, local beers, ciders and wines and as many local food products as we can squeeze on to the stalls.
Alcester Food Festival held its first Awards Dinner on Saturday, 11th February 2017 at the historic Alcester Town Hall. Awards are now presented each year to producers who have been considered as best in their category by a team of local ‘foodie’ judges at the October Food Festival
With the vast majority of our October stallholders carrying their booking over to the May 19th Food Festival, we expect to be fully booked up within days of the remaining spaces being made available in December.
Welcome to our new web site! Our old site was looking a little tired and didn’t present the right image on a par with our increasing professionalism. Nor did it have the right functionality for today’s needs, where our visitors and stallholders want to access our information on several devices ranging from mobile phones to PC’s.
Storm Brian Forces Cancellation of October Festival
It’s impossible to control the weather and with outside events, such as the Alcester Food Festival, dramatic weather can have an impact. So it was when Storm Brian gave us no option other than to cancel the 21st October Food Festival.
