Alcester Food Festival is a Community Benefit Society run by a small group of un-paid volunteers. Two, one - day Food Festivals are held in May and October each year.
The events take place in the historic and attractive centre of the town of Alcester, Warwickshire; filling the High Street, Church Street and Henley Street with a wide range of fabulous food and drink.

There is nothing we like better than putting out the bunting, closing the High Street to traffic and having a ball and the Alcester Food Festival is the best excuse for a good day of fun that we have had for a while!
Local shops will be contributing; the cafes will be on the pavements, pubs will be thronged and our exhibitors will be giving it their all. And almost everything will be local.
Check out our News page for up to date information and blogs.
The local shops, cafés and pubs will be open alongside over 100 stalls. There will be cheeses, pies, breads, cakes, fresh and cured meats, sausages, fruit and vegetables, a pig roast, award-winning street food, handmade chocolates, local beers, ciders and wines and as many local food products as we can squeeze on to the stalls.
Awards are presented each year to producers considered as best in their category by a team of local 'foodie' judges. Judging took place during the Alcester Food Festival held on October 20th, 2018. Three nominations have been made in each of the eight categories. Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Saturday, 2nd March 2019 at the historic Alcester Town Hall.
Check our News page for the results of the judging in October 2019.
The Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at the historic Alcester Town Hall. The winners of each category judged at last October's Food Festival will be presented with a beautifully crafted glass award.
Tickets are almost sold out so if you wish to come please contact Alison Brown, Sales Director.
A dedicated and enthusiastic (I wonder why?) group of people became judges for the day during last Saturday's Autumn Food Festival. They were given the difficult task of finding the best three products (in their individual judgement) within a group of categories. The list of their choices is below. The overall winner in each category will be announced at an Awards Dinner to be held at the beginning of next year - date to be announced.
