Meet the Organisers

Ever wondered what the AFF Board do?

The Board of Directors are the Festival organisers. We volunteer our free time throughout the year organising everything for the Festivals.

Planning - we spend months organising everything to make the Festivals possible; finances, logistics, risk assessments, booking stallholders, arranging entertainment and so much more!

On the day - the Directors oversee everything on the day to ensure the Festivals run smoothly... from closing the road at 5am to clearing away the benches at 7pm! (We don't do this alone - loads of amazing volunteers help us through!)

Donations - the Board, along with the other AFF members, allocate surplus funds generated by the Community Benefit Society as donations and grants to local organisations.

It is also important to note that whilst the Court Leet will be at the Festival in May and often lend a helping hand on the day, they are not involved with any of the planning or decision making of Alcester Food Festival and is a totally separate organisation.

Come visit us at the next Festival, we will be in the Organisers Stand near the church gates, keeping things running on the day... come rain or shine!
