Membership & Finances
Alcester and Forest of Arden Food Festival Limited is a Community Benefit Society limited by shares of its Membership. One fully paid up share to the value of £1.00 is issued to each Member with this being the maximum liability in the event the Society becomes insolvent. Membership carries voting rights at General Meetings
Applications for Membership
Membership is open to individuals over 16 and corporate bodies that support our objectives which are ‘to carry on any business for the benefit of the community by presenting and promoting sourceable quality food and drink at a regular Food Festival in the Town of Alcester, Warwickshire’
All Members agree to participate in general meetings and take an active interest in the operation and development of the Society and its business. Members have a duty to respect the confidential nature of the business decisions of the Society.

All profits that we make are invested in both the improvement of the Festival and in our community, either by donations or payment for upgrading facilities. In 2019 we supported St Nicholas Night to the tune of £1000, we paid for the upgrading of the PA system so that it covers Church St and Henley St and we made further donations totalling £3000 to local voluntary organisations during the Covid lock downs.
Our aaounts are audited independently by Charterhouse Group.
